Jessica Dowell, a native of Smithville, Missouri, started her photography career in 2016 when she enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Mass Communication Specialist. Studying at the Defense Information School, in Fort Meade, Maryland, Dowell gained skills in Journalism, Public Affairs, Photography, Videography, and Graphic Design. Six deployments and six years later, Dowell now resides in her home in Norfolk, Virginia, studies strategic communication at Old Dominion University and operates Vanzetti Media.
